We offer two versions with a third launching next year, each having different organoleptic characteristics due to the time of harvesting directly from the Island of Corfu, Greece.
Our olive variety, Lianolia, is rare and 99.9% of it is found exclusively on the island of Corfu.
Another well-known variety offered on the island of Corfu is Koroneiki. It mainly exists in other parts of Greece in the Peloponnesus region, however over time, it has made its way to the island and Royal Frog also cultivates and harvests the Koroneiki variety. It is noted that the organoleptic characteristics of this variety differs from region to region. Our olive groves are in close proximity to the sea and the soil is quite rocky, all contributing to the final taste and organoleptic characteristics of the EVOO as described below in the “Queen’s Taste” description.
KING’S TASTE
The Lianolia variety of extra virgin olive oil is harvested in October, and its unique composition offers more than just flavor. This highly sought-after EVOO boasts a higher content of polyphenols and ultra-low acidity for maximum antioxidant properties. It’s the perfect ingredient to give every dish that one-of-a kind healthful boost!
ROYAL FROG KING’S TASTE is a culinary gem that adds an air of luxury to any menu. Its unique mingling of aromas provides a tantalizing treat for the senses, while its spicy and bitter elements deliver an unforgettable flavor experience.
