ROYAL FROG EMPEROR’S TASTE is the first Organic, limited production Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the unique variety of the ancient and historical Corfiot Lianolia olive tree.

It is produced exclusively in our olive groves with strict organic cultivation protocols, with absolute respect to the environment and man.

Its “Bitter Secret” is the minimum acidity (0.30%) and two valuable polyphenols, Oleocanthal and Oleiacein, which will pleasantly tickle your palate with the intensely bitter and spicy taste of olive oil, are in fact your health protection shields.

Soil characteristics

The soil is 70% stony with a lot of moisture and contributes to our extra virgin olive oil’s taste notes of fresh tomato and ripe fruit.

Harvest Period

From beginning until end October

Pressing

Our fruits are picked by hand and transported within hours to the olive mill where they are cold pressed with a double and/or triple distillation process.

Storage

Prior to bottling our extra virgin olive oil is safely preserved in stainless steel tanks with nitrogen at temperatures of 14º -16º Celsius to avoid oxidation and preserving its organoleptic characteristics.

Colour

Light green, translucent like fresh juice.

Acidity

Degree of acidity 0.30 %* at the time of bottling.  

 *The acidity of olive oil, if kept in a cool and dark environment, increases naturally over time.

For an olive oil to be classified as extra virgin its acidity must not be greater than 0.80%.

Organoleptic characteristics

Natural juice made of olives cultivated and grown in a clean environment with organic fertilizers that give an extra virgin olive oil with rich aromatic character, with medium intensity bitter and spicy taste that leaves a sweet aftertaste on the palate with fresh-cut grass and artichoke.
